Besides, the Israelis are always willing to have peace agreements. What Israel cares about is Judea and Samaria, so if they have peace with Lebanon they would still be very happy

بخصوص سرديّة أنّ إسرائيل تتحرّك لبناء "إسرائيل الكبرى"، أي كيان ممتدّ من النيل إلى الفرات: إسرائيل انسحبت من سيناء عام ١٩٨٢؛ ومن جنوب لبنان عام ٢٠٠٠؛ ومن غزّة عام ٢٠٠٥. لو كان دافعها "إسرائيل الكبرى" لما انسحبت.

الحل الوحيد لحماية الضاحية هو تحرك الجيش اللبناني للسيطرة الكاملة عليها وتفكيك كل منظومة حزب الله فيها. عندها يمكن تسهيل عودة كل النازحين وتخفيف الضغط الاجتماعي وتدمير وسط سكاتي وتجاري كبير.

@TitusMichaeleus I beg to differ, that was exactly the situation in Lebanon in the 80/90s, Syrian influence in the valley and capital, boundary was awali River in the South. Something very similar is being drawn by force today. It does not have to be an explicit agreement but a tacit defacto one.

Israel is reportedly exploring partial security cooperation with Syria as Lebanon’s institutions fail to control Hezbollah. Sources tell Maariv Israel could take responsibility for southern Lebanon, while Syria would handle the north. The Syrian Hermon may be returned as part of broader arrangements. Direct or U.S.-mediated talks are reportedly ongoing, reflecting deep American frustration with Beirut’s inability to act.. The plan is being examined as a last-resort option after multiple failed efforts to stabilize Lebanon, according to the report.
