this week, I was reminded that COVID conscious people have a lot of relational trauma. we’re so brave & resilient

covid is a feminist issue. women are twice as likely to develop long covid and predominantly occupy the jobs with the most covid exposure: teaching, retail, childcare, etc. why aren’t feminist orgs talking about this?

Covid can still kill you. Covid can make it easier for other things to kill you. Just because it doesn’t kill you right away doesn’t mean it won’t kill you or contribute to killing you eventually. Covid kills. Long covid kills. Immune damage kills. Chronic inflammation kills.

and for the lady, perhaps an entire week of existing without any responsibilities

@it_ab_dw @flamboyrising We have a HEPA filter lending library called Clean Air Club, several ongoing masks-required event series, and local discords with a few hundred people in them. I had no trouble finding masked friends

When the pandemic hit I was living with my boyfriend (now ex). He was a proud punk musician, very identified with this label. I am a biologist. I asked him to wear a mask while going to concerts mid-pandemic and he said "Bonnie Henry (government lady) said I don't need to!" LMAO

@abvolition Only romantic? My last text to my best friend of 12 years was, Would you consider opening windows or having air filters at your wedding? You know I have LC. Her last text to me was, No and you're kicked out of the wedding party and uninvited to the wedding.
