Hamas leaders, on October 7th, 2023, celebrated in Qatar while watching Hamas massacre 1,200 Israelis. 2.5 years later, most of them are dead, Gaza is in ruins, Hamas is destroyed, and Israel is stronger than ever. Never forget how it all started.

Today’s military strikes on Iran — carried out by the United States and Israel — mark a catastrophic escalation in an illegal war of aggression. Bombing cities. Killing civilians. Opening a new theater of war. Americans do not want this. They do not want another war in pursuit of regime change. They want relief from the affordability crisis. They want peace. I am focused on making sure that every New Yorker is safe. I have been in contact with our Police Commissioner and emergency management officials. We are taking proactive steps, including increasing coordination across agencies and enhancing patrols of sensitive locations out of an abundance of caution. Additionally, I want to speak directly to Iranian New Yorkers: you are part of the fabric of this city — you are our neighbors, small business owners, students, artists, workers, and community leaders. You will be safe here.

Can you imagine how the Iranian people are feeling, surrounded by the fire power of the mightiest war machine in the world with its lunatic President telling them to stay safe inside their homes while he bombs them and that those who survive will celebrate a regime controlled by the US and subservient to Israel? War on the pretext Iran must not have a nuclear bomb. This is an attempt at a deception NO-ONE is going to buy. This is an illegal, criminal and unnecessary war. First, a historic city, Gaza is destroyed by Israel, now this. I’d say most people in the world would be standing with Iran.

Today, VCAT delivered its decision in Vorchheimer v Tayeh [2026] VCAT 134, finding that the chant “All Zionists are terrorists” at a Melbourne rally breached Victoria’s racial and religious vilification laws. The ruling clarifies the legal boundary between political protest and unlawful incitement. "Today’s VCAT decision provides important legal clarity about the boundaries set by Victorian law. This judgment reinforces an important principle in Australian law: you are free to criticise governments. You are free to argue about borders, security, settlements, or foreign policy. But you are not free to incite hatred against a racial or religious group. This was a significant and carefully considered case. The Tribunal found that the chant in question crossed that legal threshold and contravened the Racial and Religious Tolerance Act. For the overwhelming majority of Jewish Australians, Zionism is closely connected to identity, history and peoplehood. When “all Zionists” are labelled terrorists, that is experienced not as policy critique, but as collective demonisation that was likely to incite hatred against Jewish people. Freedom of expression is fundamental in Australia. This decision reinforces that those freedoms exist alongside legal protections that prevent the dehumanisation of entire communities. It is also important to acknowledge @MenachemV for bringing this case. As a private individual, he has a longstanding record of pursuing matters of principle through the courts, often in challenging circumstances. His commitment to seeing this case through has contributed to clearer guidance on the application of the law and the limits it places on speech that incites hatred against Jewish people." - @jeremyleibler ZFA President
