@cyber_razz Both literally do need each other to a great extent, & well compliment themselves. You can't get in Cyber Security with zero knowledge of core Networking basics at the very least.

It is a complex history. Northern Italians believe they are more European than southern Italians. The genesis can be traced to when the Moors invaded Sicily, in the Islamic conquest that seized Sicily from the Byzantine empire in 827 AD. They mated with the women, procreated, facilitated generations & it is evidenced in the phenotypes of southerners. Facial structure, hair, skin tone. I mean, at a point - both sides weren't even united. The more recent source, is from after the war. The economic disparity, levels of development, infrastructure and even cultural differences - influenced more discrimination. So when a lot of southerners started to migrate up North for jobs and opportunities, Northerners became upset that jobs were taken from them. In fact, they didn't rent houses to southerners. Some of them still don't do so, till today.

@UnkleAyo I have Como in my books to visit. The mountains and ocean view is amazing. Why do Italians discriminate against Sicilianos and mostly southern provinces?

Nigeria will spend billions on elections and still struggle to transmit results in real time, yet there are always useful idiots ready to defend it. Meanwhile, agencies like NASA are transmitting data seamlessly from space. Thank God I left Nigeria when I did.

For some of us, it really wasn’t about bowing to peer or social pressure,it was simply necessary. In my case, In 2020, I secured a funded MSc scholarship in Germany. To even board my flight in October 2020, I needed to show proof of vaccination. On arrival at Frankfurt, it was required again for entry. Throughout my 2 years of study, it didn’t stop there; universities requested it, and traveling across Europe meant constantly showing proof, sometimes even proof of second doses. Without it, access to classes, mobility, and basic participation in society was heavily restricted. So for people in situations like mine, it wasn’t a debate of “standing strong” against pressure, it was about not missing a life-changing opportunity. At that point, was it really a free choice… or a condition you had to meet to move forward? 🤔

No form of peer and social pressure can work on those who chose not to get the COVID vaccine in 2021

@BBCNews Might sound delusional, but I'd say London should be more worried at Manchester's prospects of being number one England's city in a few years, with all these sporadic growth I see up in Manc.

940,000 older people in the UK are often lonely. 270,000 go a whole week without speaking to a friend or family member. Now here’s the part nobody really talks about… There’s money in simply being there for them. Not medical care. Not anything technical. Just companionship. You’re basically paid to: – Sit and talk with them – Listen to their stories – Share tea or a meal – Help with small errands (groceries, short walks, picking things up) – Keep them company so they don’t feel forgotten That’s it. A lot of their children are not wicked or careless. They’re just trying to survive, working full-time, living in different cities or even countries. But the guilt is always there. So instead of leaving their parents alone, they pay for someone reliable to check in regularly. This is where elderly companionship agencies come in: – They recruit calm, friendly, trustworthy people – Match them with elderly clients – Schedule weekly (or multiple) visits And for something this simple, people are earning around €20–€30 per hour. If you’re consistent and have multiple clients, that can easily turn into steady weekly income. No degree. No special certification (in most cases). Just patience, empathy, and good conversation. It’s one of those rare situations where: You’re helping someone feel seen… And getting paid for it at the same time.

@IkeGod_ @AfamDeluxo In fairness, Texas isn't bigger than Nigeria. It's only a bit smaller, but definitely bigger than Ghana & a lot more other countries. Heck, it's even bigger than the United Kingdom, & I'm talking; England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland, plus its whole water bodies combined.

Nigeria is not even a big country in terms of landmass. Naija is just about the size of Texas and Minnesota. I can assure you that with Nigeria's small landmass size, Elon's Starlink satellite internet can efficiently transmit election results in real-time from across Nigeria's 176,846 polling units. If @inecnigeria and @NgComCommission partners with @Starlink, they can connect all 176,846 polling units with high-speed internet connectivity for the swift and glitch-free transmission of election results in real-time. I stand to be challenged.

Atlantic Canada doesn't show up in most "where to build" conversations. But Moncton, Halifax, and Charlottetown are growing in ways that rarely get covered. For immigrant engineers who want to build without the Toronto cost and competition, this region is genuinely underrated.

@PsudoMike Vancouver hands down should be up their with Toronto during talks about the insanely high cost of living experience in Canada. Heck, even feels to me like it's a tad more expensive to live in than what is of Toronto at the moment, & Toronto is mad expensive! 😐

The older you get, the more you realize luck is mostly exposure. If you sit in the same place, have the same routine, talking to the same people, nothing new really happens. You have to tackle the world to win. Travel more. Talk to people. Try a breakfast spot. Post on social media. Start a side hustle or a hobby. The world rewards motion. You don't find opportunity sitting still.

Felt this deeply. Growing up in Nigeria, the world felt distant. Not because I lacked ambition but because access was locked behind visa walls that treated you like a suspect before you even applied. Got Canadian PR and everything shifted. Applied for a Schengen visa to the Netherlands last month and received one year approval. Imagine that same application with just my Nigerian passport. Probably one month if approved at all. The world was always out here waiting. The only thing that changed was the door finally opening. Time to start seeing it all.
