Logan Webb is done after just four innings. The Padres have hit him hard a few times in recent years and they put six earned runs on his line, including five in the fourth inning.

@GiantsCursed no way. hes a young player, and not going to go against what his coaches are saying, especially in a high leverage spot. i agree that there were numerous dogshit decisions from the coaching staff and the players, but you cant blame gilbert for doing what hes told
Dan Gutman has positively impacted thousands of readers, especially young baseball fans, through his work as an author. His contributions deserved to be honored, and I figured why not us. Gutman made reading cool for kids in schools across the country, including myself.
@BaseballJeff1 What do you think the rotation looks like in September?
If they're doing poorly, Ray, Mahle/Houser (if they're doing well) are gone.
If well, who comes in as a 2/3 starter? If the Royals are out of it Ragans/Bubic are good options, or Joe Ryan since the Twins are struggling
Okay, folks. What have been your biggest surprises or disappointments from the start of the #SFGiants season? Any questions you would like answered? Any topics you'd like to discuss?
@SFGiants Tony did his best to lose the game. Not pinch hitting for Bailey , and using Walker as a closer, who blew the save.
Clearly he is overwhelmed at this level.
I'm on a search for the greatest movie of all time. I'm going to try & watch one new movie every single night that you guys choose. I'll do a little review on how I felt about it before selecting another movie the next day.
What should I start with first?

@dom_tuff@BaseballJeff1 totally. lets him see in-game reps against a big league pitcher. even got a steal against a solid catcher! vitello manufactured that run
It was a minor detail from last night, but I liked how Tony Vitello replaced Luis Arráez with Christian Koss to get a better defensive alignment late in the game, even with a comfortable lead. That is not something you always see with first-time managers right out of the gates.
