Slovakia has a new pro-Kremlin president, and the country succumbs even deeper under Putin's control. I don't know much about Slovakian politics, but my guess is that these people are elected not because of their positive attitude towards Russia, but because their populist rhetoric works on the common people. Regular people are often disappointed and frustrated due to inflation, rising energy prices, unemployment, and general anxiety, and they're looking for a change. Ironically, a lot of these issues were caused by Russia after they launched their full-scale invasion against Ukraine.

Exactly one year ago, the world was shocked by the terrible execution of Oleksandr Matsievskyi. The Ukrainian soldier of the 119th TDF, unarmed, who was captured during the battle of Bakhmut, looked the Russian soldiers in the eyes, took a last drag on his cigarette and uttered the legendary words "Slava Ukraini". They then brutally shot Matsievskyi to death with automatic rifles from several sides. Matsievskyi, Hero of Ukraine, symbolizes bravery, the continuous struggle to maintain Ukraine's sovereignty and never allow itself to be subjected to Russian imperialism. Let us not forget Matsievskyi, but also all those others who fell for defending a sovereign Ukraine.

On this day 84 years ago, the Soviet Union invaded Finland. Four days prior, they had conducted a false flag attack against their own troops in the town of Mainila, blaming Finnish forces for the shelling. The invasion marked the beginning of the Winter War. Stalin planned the war to be over in 12 days, but despite superior military strength, especially in tanks and aircraft, the Soviets suffered heavy losses and made barely any headway. Back then, no country came to help Finland, and we finally ceded around 10% of our territory to Stalin. We can't do this same mistake with Ukraine - the West must send all humanitarian and military aid they need to repel the Kremlin's forces.

@DavidSkygodone Nagorno-Karabakh was given autonomy within the🇦🇿by☭ and has the rights to it. Now there are a good chance to solve the dispute since the conflict is not longer frozen by🇷🇺.

@aceone_ The area has always been inhibited by Armenians, and during Soviet era Stalin wrongfully declared Nagorno-Karabach as part of Azerbaijan Soviet republic! The Armenian history in the region is well documented! The UN resolution reaffirms the Soviet wrongdoing yes!
