In addition to this, we’re adding a bugfix to the Retribution augment and Loot Singularity’s cashouts. We are aware of a text-only bug with Morgana and the Pengu offering, but that won’t be in this batch of fixes due to it requiring Localization
Teamfight Tactics@TFT

The team is aware of an issue with New Recruit (Prismatic Augment) not providing an additional team slot and a champion ability exceeding it's intended range. We're working on getting out a fix as soon as possible.

@achiever620 @kura_time What? In what world should the MORE POWERFUL + RARER + EXPENSIVE UNITS not be the best cap in the game? How fucking dense is that? You reroll from a good spot = you CAN top 4 and CAN win… Right now you can FORCE it and top 4 AND WIN

Set 16 people complained there was no reroll. Set 17 people are complaining there is infinite reroll. If we hypothetically removed set mechanics from the picture, my question to y'all is In your opinion, what does a healthy amount of reroll in a meta look like in TFT?

@nickcaponee @kura_time 4/5 cost doesn't automatically mean more powerful. A 3 star 1/2/3 cost with BIS items should be more powerful in any way. 4/5 costs Rarer? definitely not. They're rarity are balanced by how easier they are to hit (3 copies only). Expensive? 3* 2/3 cost are expensive buddy.

@nickcaponee @kura_time Your solution sucks. Reroll falling off late game sucks; nobody in their right mind would play reroll if that is the case, and thus it will just be another 4/5 cost soup meta instead.

@achiever620 @kura_time Saying “easier to hit” because you only need threes copies… I’d rather argue that it’s easy to hit reroll because the pool is so big and the cost very little… I wouldn’t balance the game around “how easy it is to hit something” either.

@nickcaponee @kura_time big disagree. Reroll should also win. 4/5 costs is also much easier to hit because you only need 3 copies for each of your units, and you use item carriers to reach 8/9 so you're not really at any disadvantage.

@kura_time I mean the CAP should ALWAYS be the 4 and 5 cost units.. (because if not what would be the point of them being more expensive?) Reroll should spike your board heavy mid game and fall off into a top 3/4/5 with the occasional winout. Thats perfect tft.

@TheTruexy They're only playable when you natural the champs you need, or you have duplicators, but even so, you can still lowroll while everyone is already stable with their 4-costs. Even with resource inflation, why go with this feast/famine 3-cost reroll when you can just fast 9 (2/???)

With the first weekend of Space Gods in the books, I'm here to cover what's next on the Live Team's radar. The overall launch balance of Traits/Champions was relatively stable. There were obviously some outliers, but for a launch patch, we're fairly happy with the spread of comps. There's still a lot of content to explore and optimize, but for the time being, the highest priority player pains are things that extend above pure balance. First on our list, is the Set Mechanic. We've heard the feedback, and agree that the Gods have a lot of potential, but don't fully fill the void of the Carousel and Encounters. In 17.2 (and potentially future patches), we'll be introducing more God Blessings that aim to spice up each decision and make them feel unique to the set. As noted before, Encounters are also coming back, with the old fan favorites and a couple new ones for players to look forward too. We're committed to making the Gods feel like... well Gods. Next comes the more balance-focused topic, 3-star 4-costs. There's been a huge uptick in Set 17 for a variety of reasons: inflation, increased odds from the last set, and the power of some new/gods Augments. We're not happy with the current rate of 3-star 4-costs, and 17.2 takes a big swing at reducing them in a healthy way. We're removing some problematic augments that have been optimized for 3* 4-costs rather than their initial fantasy and taking a large pass on the set's gold inflation from a variety of sources. For now, we're not adjusting any Shop Odds, as we feel like the current values make level 8 feel less feast/famine. Finally, we've also heard the frustrations around some lines being too narrow/conditional. There's a lot to unpack here and this is already a long post, so expect something more later. But just like in Lore & Legends, we want to make sure there's a healthy balance between fun variance in TFT and stability and player agency. Things like Stargazer/Artifacts/Emblems are on our radar as areas of improvement. As always, thanks for playing!

@Deis1k You don't even need those. The game is just balanced around 4-costs, so it's highly likely everyone is just playing fast 8. Meaning the meta is to just stay 8 and hit your 3* 4-cost.

How hard is it to earn money playing "competitive" TFT as an aspiring Pro? Trials Day 1 - $0 Trials Day 2 - $0 Cup Day 1 - $0 Cup Day 2 - $0 Cup Day 3, rank 17-32 - $0 Regionals Rank 33+ - $0 Imagine investing time climbing the ladder, studying the meta, and competing for days to earn zero. This is why I founded @AxiomPH , incentivizing aspiring TFT Professional players to compete and get something back based on a ladderized structure. Get day 1'd in trials - you earn something. Get to Cup? - you earn more. Make it to Regionals - you earn a lot more. It may not be that much but something is better than nothing.

Just calling it out as two major known bugs this build 1) Minor offerings champs are displayed backwards, so it looks very incorrect. Just note that and you can play through it for now 2) Elder Dragon is showing up in sources as a 5 cost when he shouldn't be. Fixed tomorrow!
