@not__vee The abort male fetuses is a quickly growing phenomenon, unfortunately. And TRAs insist this never happens either. These are from 2020 so I’m curious for the outcome in all honesty.

@mynamehear I’m sure there are many detrans individuals who would disagree, regardless how much TRAs try to silence and gaslight them.

No transgender person has ever recruited a cisgender kid to become transgender. That's never happened. It's a completely made up talking point. If you believe that, you have a little baby bird brain.

I am not “crapping on” anyone. I am pointing out the reality of NAs economy. And if you seriously think you can successfully shame me for, like I said, working my ass off (and living in Canada) so that I can stay home with my babies for a paid (all be it much less) year, you’re gonna be here awhile.

@Twilight_Husky_ You see this even within the Christianity umbrella itself too, so many people believe only their version is the “correct one” even though you can obviously see a majority of people cherry picking which parts apply and which don’t lol.

I find it very funny that my parents get very upset whenever they perceive that their religion is being mocked, yet they will mock other religions without a second thought.

My parents trusted me to see movies with friends alone at this age, my sister however started lying around this age so she would not have been. So many factors in this, it’s not a one size fits all concept. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Why is no one acknowledging that not every child is the same, children, especially when they hit this age group are ✨unique individuals✨. The reality is *some could be* trusted to go alone and *some could not*.
elizabeth@cobavines

@HighHeelEsquire She is THIRTEEN. If she was 16 or 17, yes this would be crazy overbearing. What are they doing at just 13 they don’t want the mom to see? She’s too young to be totally unsupervised. I don’t think this is too much at all. They’re babies.

Biologically speaking, zero. Humans are one species—Homo sapiens—with genetic variation that's continuous across geography, not divided into discrete races. Over 99.9% of our DNA is identical, and 85-95% of differences occur within local populations, not between traditional "racial" groups. Older classifications (3-5 races) were social and phenotypic, not genetic.

@sovietsarah @JadeK526 Oh plenty if things! Let's take South Carolina, for example. An ectopic pregnancy is a listed exception to our 6 week abortion ban. What about a non-fallopian ectopic pregnancy, though? (Second reply incoming to explain)

No amount of Science and research will save an ectopic pregnancy. It is never viable and needs to be immediately removed. It is a life-threatening emergency and women and girls do not need to sacrifice a reproductive organ because abortion makes people sad. You are stupid and ignorant if you think an embryo that implants in a fallopian tube can be saved. It will never happen. But if you want to, keep holding your breath.

@allie__voss I put a lot of the blame for current societies lack of accountability towards the media we’re given. Rarely do you see movies/TV without a plot line of “xyz group of people made me do xyz actions”.

Outside of actual trauma, we need to collectively get over the notion that your flaws are your parents’ faults The “lol my parents messed me up” has become a way to avoid accountability, even if your parents were the cause your shortcomings are your own responsibility

A few musings / alternative explanation for how this meme works. Hopefully a new perspective on "generational trauma" Will likely get lost along the way

People who embrace faith and or/religion later in life often due so because of personal experiences, despite scientific knowledge, especially those who rejected it fervently previously. It’s rarely because of selective facts from churches or the govt (propaganda as you say). But what I find particularly funny about your assertion is that, you could use your “access to information on the internet” to actually discover why people have these moments that bring them to faith to learn more but instead opt to mock instead. You act like you are the more open minded one because you deny religion but this post proves the opposite entirely.

@realumutturan @hell_line0 In Canada you’re given minimum 15 weeks no matter what, the amount is peanuts but it’s still offered. US not offering this comes down to choice of tax payer money spending, plain and simple.

@hell_line0 Pregnancy is a biological fact, not a condition of employment. The law doesn't specify the viability of a baby to grant leave. It's the loss that matters, not the duration of gestation. We should support families, not parse their sorrow.

Maternity leave shouldn’t have stipulations, if you had to deliver your baby at 22 weeks and the baby didn’t survive and your work tells you that you get 5 days bereavement but not your leave because you dont have a baby…. I have some choice words for them. You did have a baby. You gave birth. Your body is still healing, you are bleeding, your hormones are reeling from loss and birth, you’re lactating. YOU GAVE BIRTH. We really need to do better for women. Period.

@ManifestHistory I tried reading front to back and it’s very dull starting with the ENTIRE Old Testament, imo. So I moved forward to Job and then used AI to ask what’s the best order following that.

I’ve finally decided to read the entire bible. So far, I’ve read Genesis and Exodus. I’m obviously really interested in reading the Gospels and New Testament. I’m debating skipping ahead to the Gospels. What do you recommend I do: Read the bible from front to back or skip ahead and read the Gospels (or entire New Testament) and then go back to the Old Testament.
