Look I don't believe in denigrating and being purposefully cruel to women because I believe in chivalry. But Scripture itself calls a promiscuous woman a whore, and it is an accurate description of one. It also even identifies previous prostitutes as prostitutes (Rahab in Hebrews 11). We've softened language to satiate female sensibilities, excusing sin and downplaying its harm. Words are symbols that shape how we see the world. They matter. Continue to wrap everything in nice packaging and people will not understand the depth and severity of sin. Today, niceness has become the supreme virtue not only in politics and but in the Church. It neuters young men, effeminizes the Church, and renders it toothless. If women want to continue participating in politics and theology (traditionally men's domain) they must stop hiding behind fragility and offense at mean words. Argue the actual points of contention, or maybe consider stepping out of the arena.

The orange trees were destroyed by a Communist Chinese…. who brought in a virus to kill all the orange trees….and you can’t plant more orange trees in the same soil. This was after they killed all of the chestnut trees in the USA. Couple months ago, Feds caught a Communist Chinese with the bioengineered substance to destroy all wheat crops in the USA. AND WE KEEP EDUCATING THE DAMN COMMUNIST CHINESE….GRANTING THEM WORK AND STUDENT VISAS!

🍊 😢 Thirty years ago, 225 million boxes of oranges were picked in Florida groves. This year, the forecast from the U.S. Agriculture Department is 12 million boxes, a drop of 95% in one generation. I’ve seen this with my own eyes. Orange groves have been replaced with vast expanses of tract house communities, built for the constant stream of new Florida transplants.

Dude who wanted to take the Ring for himself to save his kingdom but decided the mission to destroy it was more important because it would save the world, and died for that cause. King who initially refused to aid another kingdom because they didn't help when they needed it, but ultimately decided fighting evil and saving their civilization was more important than his petty grudge, and died for that cause. Guy who lived a life of cruelty and greed who got corrupted by a quasi-demonic force that turned him into a monster and made him suffer in loneliness for hundreds of years until given the chance to redeem himself and genuinely tried but ultimately failed by giving into temptation and betraying the only person who could bring him salvation. "No moral complexity."

...and that minority of men who specifically don't want their wife to be a virgin is (apparently) around 1/3. So, unless we're talking about professional harlots (i.e. prostitutes), and not speaking euphemistically, that is a large number of men who actively prefer harlotry. At least, in the euphemistic sense (which is what I took it to mean).

My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin. She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc. We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!). We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine. She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8). We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this. Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47). Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior. A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands. "God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)

@activity_no @Vicar1973 It says nothing about the heretic’s action or refusal. The clause is: “…if it would not be within God’s will to do so…” You can keep lobbing random attacks instead of trying to actually argue the point buddy, it doesn’t look great.

This is either incredibly dishonest or wildly ignorant. Obviously, non-Christians are not going to know all the biblical jargon Christians use. But journalists (or should I say “journalists”?) who report on Christians have at least some obligation to understand what Christians are actually saying. It’s really not hard to grasp what Pastor Potteiger is talking about here. The suggestion that he is advocating violence is insane. He’s actually hoping Talarico would be converted to genuine faith in Christ. He wants to see Talarico saved. Every Christian has been crucified with Christ (Galatians 2:20). Every Christian is called to die to himself, to take up his cross, to deny himself, to put his flesh (fallenness) to death. One of Satan’s tactics is false accusation. Early Christians were accused of cannibalism and atheism. Some things never change. Satanic slander of good men is one of them.
AF Post@AFpost

Brooks Potteiger, a spiritual advisor of Pete Hegseth, said he wants the transgender-loving “pastor” James Talarico to be “crucified” with Christ. Potteiger added that he prays that God “kills” the anti-White Talarico who is running for Texas’ Senate seat. Follow: @AFpost

@RodneyAber51705 @RationalMale My point is that the girl on the top right wasn't just a carousel rider. BOTH were involved with the same type of online pornography. Nala was more monetarily successful, but both engaged in the same actions. BTW, I try to choose my language to limit my report risk.

@activity_no @RationalMale No I mean they are both former whores but the one on the top right is a slut who used to ride the carousel and get ran through, formally sexually promiscuous and the other one is an online PROSTITUTE. Stop using their language. Pornography is a form of prostitution.

If you had actually looked at the churches and chapels, then you'd realise that the people who were abusing minors were homosexual men. By the 1980s, the proportion of homosexual men in the priesthood was eight times higher than in the general population. 81% of the Catholic Church victims were post-pubescent males. Take away these homosexual priests, and the Church would have no higher rate of child sexual abuse than any other institution.

Just curious how many of "you people" remember living with Blue Laws on most store goods. If you have to look that up you probably didn't. West Virginia still had them when I left home in 1975 and Virginia didn't get rid of them until the early 80s if I remember right.

It is not a bad thing to want the person you marry to be sexually pure, even if you were not. It is not a bad thing for a sexually pure Christian to marry a truly repentant person with an impure past. It is always a bad thing to virtue signal about your wife's sexual impurity.
