Other parents boycotted us and wouldn’t let their kids near her. She was placed on the Quiet Skies terrorist watchlist and subjected to repeated invasive searches at the airport. The sensory overload was so bad we couldn’t take her to visit her grandfather while he was going through cancer treatment. Our story is not unique. Hundreds of other families went through similar nightmares. Some lost their homes, businesses, marriages, and children. Military benefits gone. Fathers spent years in prison. Many were in solitary confinement, denied medical care and religious services, missing funerals and family milestones. The stress destroyed their health. Some J6ers even took their own lives. It’s time for restitution. Every ruined life, every traumatized child, and every stolen year demands full accountability and fair compensation. The amounts must reflect the true, permanent damage done - lost careers that spanned decades, destroyed futures, and irreplaceable family time - so victims are made whole, not given token settlements.

Lowered inhibition plus chemically forced single-task focus. That combination is almost identical to what Csikszentmihalyi documented across 30 years of flow state research. Clear goal, immediate feedback, challenge matched to skill. A 12-page paper due in 8 hours hits all three criteria by accident. The lo-fi beats matter more than people think. Repetitive audio at 60-70 BPM synchronizes with resting heart rate and suppresses novelty-seeking circuits. You stop hearing it within minutes. It becomes an auditory wall that blocks interruption without costing you any cognitive load. It's the cheapest sensory deprivation chamber ever built. And the black coffee at midnight is pharmacologically different from your morning cup. Your adenosine levels have been building all day, so the caffeine is fighting a much stronger sleep signal. The subjective experience of "wired but calm" at 1 AM is a different drug interaction than alert-at-9-AM. Same molecule, completely different neurochemical environment. Every semester, twice a semester, four years straight. That's 40 sessions of accidental deep work before anyone had a name for it. The grade was an A- because the conditions were perfect. Not despite the chaos. Because of it.

This is Tina Peters,who is in Mesa, Co. prison, standing w/ her now deceased son. He was a Navy SEAL, and while at an airplane event he tragically died when his parachute didn’t open. Thanks to Jena Griswold, Jared Polis, and Phil Weiser, Tina has been in prison since her son died unable to properly grieve for her son. Griswold does not want Tina released, she rather watch her be assaulted in prison to keep Tina quiet. Tina is a US citizen being held with no criminal record, judicial misconduct, and a Gold Star Mom. She could be anyone’s mom, sister or friend. Tina needs our support and prayers. It’s time for action and justice.
