I guess I have been voluntold to do a presentation on amateur satellite communication at ARRL WV state convention! Are there publicly available slides how's available? If I remember correctly @AMSAT used to have stuff available for a booth setup. Is that still the case

FO-29 has been back on for not even a day and ops are bouncing the AGC on CW. This satellite is very sensitive, if you can't hear your CW on QRP power, fix your receive system.

107° right now in beautiful downtown Killeen … Same for tomorrow – but fortunately, on moving day on Saturday we will enjoy a cool front of only 102° for loading ham stuff, furniture, ham stuff, art work, ham stuff, 180 boxes - some filled with ham stuff…etc,etc,etc…

@ad0dx @K7TABravo I’d say the dipole is about 30 feet up, give or take a few feet. I enjoy it better only because it can handle 500 watts since any matching unit is by the radio/amp. On my vertical, i have a matching tuner at the base and it’s limited to 150w

@ad0dx @K7TABravo ah, sorry. I just have the DX engineering ground plane plate, not the antenna. I have a vertical that was gifted to me from a friend. One day, I'll upgrade. But I mostly use it to compare to my Alpha Delta fan dipole, which has always been a great performer.
