@CityPowerJhb Why is there always problems with Gayfield power station. If it keeps tripping just don’t turn it off. We only in February and this is the 4th time we have had issues.

Quorn Street Transformer: Tripped, affecting parts of Northriding AH. Operators will attend to the outage after completing the task at hand. MSS 2253 Spionkop Street: Tripped affecting parts Northriding AH. Operators have been informed and will attend after completing the task at hand. We are aware of an outage affecting parts of Northriding AH, Kyasands, and surroundings. Operators will attend to the outage to investigate the cause. @CityPowerJhb This is really a ridiculous time table. I think we might have been better off with Eskom controlling load shedding. At least their chaos had some structure.

To help control the crowds, every few minutes a random amount of people in our waiting room will be allowed through to our site to book R9 flights. It’s really the luck of the draw as to how long you wait. Will it be 1 minute or 20? Be patient and pray that fortune favours you!

@THEDEVCHEV The area is constantly having these extended outages. Block 14 cannot handle the 4.5 hr load shedding outages. This needs to be looked at urgently and honestly some sort of exemption.

⚡ #RandparkRidge #Boskruin* 21 April 2023, 15h37 - Cllr Devon Steenkamp City Power has not had a chance yet to look at the outage affecting parts of Randpark Ridge, Boskruin and Bromhof. There teams are still on other sites of outages that occured before, Councillor Bittkau and I have stressed the urgency for Block 14.

@CityPowerJhb what’s happening with Boskruin? We have been off since 10:00 this morning it’s now been 10.5 hrs without power in the area.
