@BradWestPoCo Developers stopped building because they couldn’t get the presales. This happened at the exact time immigration was limited. So who did they build for? The thousands of Canadians needing homes? Or immigrants? Ya, the same people now renting back to Canadians 😡

Encouraging to see the Federal and Ontario governments not just reduce development charges, but step up with infrastructure funding to support it. $8.8 billion to build the critical, non-discretionary infrastructure that make our cities function. That’s the key — the model of municipalities being forced to rely on growth to pay for the infrastructure growth requires isn’t working. We need the Ontario deal in BC, and I hope the province will step up and similarly partner with the Canadian government.

This is the full story on this: On Wednesday, the Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the victim of a fatal Spring Break weekend crash along Highway 361 as 22-year-old Michael Brown. According to the Port Aransas Police Department, the crash happened on March 14 along Highway 361 near Cinnamon Shore and Access Road 1A. Investigators said Brown was riding in the passenger seat of a Jeep when the vehicle crashed into a Tesla. According to police, Brown was ejected from the Jeep during the crash, which caused significant traffic backups along the busy coastal roadway. Officials with the medical examiner's office confirmed Brown died from his injuries on March 20. The Texas Department of Public Safety has since arrested the driver of the Jeep on a charge of driving while intoxicated (DWI). No additional details about the crash have been released.

If there’s something I’ve learned during many years as a hospital doctor. When a nurse contacts you and says the words: “He/she just doesn’t look right, I’m worried” You go and see that patient immediately. Not in half an hour. Now.
