Anthropic getting ready for its first ever developer conference on May 6 in SF

Today we're excited to announce NO_FLICKER mode for Claude Code in the terminal It uses an experimental new renderer that we're excited about. The renderer is early and has tradeoffs, but already we've found that most internal users prefer it over the old renderer. It also supports mouse events (yes, in a terminal). Try it: CLAUDE_CODE_NO_FLICKER=1 claude

@antirez Would love to get you more credits! Just sent a DM

discord gave us all of this for free and people are still building custom infrastructure from scratch. All features that you could build around: Channels,UI,API,security, all of it.. >text channels >threads >forums >voice channels >stage channels >announcement channels >categories >channel topics >channel permissions >read-only channels >pinned messages >auto-archiving threads >forum tags >private channels >notification overrides >persistent message history >embeds and rich cards >inline embed fields >buttons >dropdowns >modals >action rows (up to 25 buttons per message) >ephemeral messages >disabled button states >link buttons >message editing >typing indicator >emoji reactions >custom emoji >polls >reaction collectors >full text search >search filters >message linking >webhooks (custom name + avatar per message) >REST API >gateway websocket >interaction callbacks >intents >OAuth2 >slash commands >context menus >autocomplete >50 req/sec rate limits >sharding >message components API >bulk operations >webhook wait mode >gateway resume >bot presence >activity status >role-based access >per-channel permission overrides >permission hierarchy >2FA enforcement >audit log >auto-moderation >verification levels >timeout and mute >bot token rotation >privileged intents gating >webhook token auth >mobile + desktop + web >push notifications >global CDN >full API you don't have to use everything, just know it's there start with channels, threads and webhooks, then add the rest as your swarm grows.

Do you use @openclaw in some super impactful or fun way? I'd love to know. Please share your 1-2 favorite use cases in the comments. If it's awesome, I'll feature you in the newsletter. Big bonus points for screenshots of what it looks like in action (and any tips for setting it up).

@openclaw I dunno I would want @theonejvo stamp of approval that this has been vetted. I can do the machine or cloud lockdown, but just to pull it and run it… gonna wait for feedback/fallout
