I just ran a complex script that kept Codex CLI running for nearly five hours. On the $100 plan, I still have 11% remaining of my five-hour limit. This effectively confirms that the current $100 Codex plan provides around eight hours of continuous use over seven days, which is remarkably strong value for the money.

In the future, when AI is everywhere and latency is negligible, the interface may look obvious: one endpoint, one prompt, one authenticated request. Security doesn’t disappear as a concern, but it doesn’t invalidate the model either. You can still pass tokens, scopes, policies, and audit context the way we do today. The difference is that the server interprets intent instead of exposing every operation as a separate route. REST may remain underneath. But for many clients, the contract becomes less “call this resource” and more “tell the service what outcome you want.”
Yegor Bugayenko@yegor256

RESTful APIs may be dead soon. Instead, web services may expose a single POST entry point for a prompt. Internally, an AI agent may decide how to interpret it and what to do with the data and the database.

We found and fixed two issues that could explain this degradation of the capability of GPT-5.5 in Codex over the last ~ 48 hours. We are monitoring over the coming hours to fully confirm and I will reset usage limits this evening. Apologies and now is the time for /fast maxxing.
Tibo@thsottiaux

Codex team is aware of reports of GPT-5.5 performing worse for some users and investigating. We don't have anything conclusive yet and systems are healthy but we will share updates as we go.

@Ongi_app @DevenPatil_007 Do you think it’s a crowded market in this category? It kind of seems so, but from time to time, you hear about an app in this category that scores a lot.

@adam_fresko @DevenPatil_007 Honestly just started this week — no paying customers yet, still in beta recruitment phase. Got some interest here on X which is encouraging. Looking for 20 beta testers first, then validating if people actually stick with it beyond week 1. Long road ahead but excited about it!

@elonmusk I would need more customization for the following tab. It would be great to split tech topics into AI, programming, servers, etc. What do you guys think? Custom topics would be great?

@adam_fresko @DevenPatil_007 Good catch, thanks! That's a browser-level install prompt picking up the device language. I'll look into forcing it to match the site language. Appreciate the feedback 🙏

Despite strong profits and more than 350,000 corporate clients, Atlassian laid off thousands of talented engineers. One of them, Vasilios Syrakis, published a video explaining the technical decisions behind the systems he built. In the video, he describes: - how they moved from costly enterprise load balancers to Envoy, an open-source proxy - how his team used AWS CloudFormation, Packer, and SaltStack to automate infrastructure, allowing them to provision EC2 instances quickly with custom AMIs - how he rewrote the authentication system in Rust.

@AntoniNeutron Of course, you don't need to know how the UI component handles the underlying list and what type of list it is. P.S. That is a bot account posting every hour, 24 hours a day.

@PhilStarkovich Oh, this annoys me so deeply. Searching for startup names can take days now if you don't have money to buy a domain. Then you also have to check the trademarks.

Every semi-decent domain name is taken and 90% just squatting / for sale. We need a global "use it or lose it" policy 💀
