Drag has the best fans in the world, and I have been so fortunate to be embraced by you all. While the show must always go on, there is a time to pause and focus on the people closest to us. For me this time is now. It’s with the heaviest heart I want to let you all know that my good friend and manager, Fredrick Shade, has passed away. The city I love most lost a fierce advocate for drag and an instrumental piece of its community. On a personal level, I have lost a beloved manager, an ardent supporter and most importantly, a close friend. I will take some personal time to regroup, but rest assured I will be back soon and can’t wait to see you all. Fred always believed in pushing through to share entertainment with others because he knew its power.
