I’m a consistently profitable day trader and taken a quarter million in payouts and got banned from one prop firm for taking too many payouts in their sim funded, but what nobody knows is I’m the complete opposite of what is deemed a disciplined trader. Majority of the time when I’m trading I am drunk, couple shots in, vaping and living a degenerate life. I treat prop firms like casinos and I’m the card counter coming to take their money. My friends don’t understand how I’m the profitable one and they are the disciplined ones who can’t even take a single payout.

@Peevan_ @Lystic__ there will never be an anticheat that can effectively combat cheaters on cs. They want to push steamos (which is linux) so secureboot rootkit isnt an option and everything else simply does not work anymore. This isnt 2012, there is too large of an industry for cheating

And no, we don’t pay 50% in taxes. In the West, it would probably get you nothing. The percentage growth relative to where you started is the important and impressive metric when compared to the average wage. We don’t all start with five figure salaries.

Not losing the long term perspective is what many traders struggle with, Especially in trend following systems, Let’s take Challenge Edge, for example Most of the gains come from a few big months, which explains why they are so profitable Yet not many can handle sitting through long drawdowns. When you start questioning whether a strategy has stopped working, Look at the market first: is it trending or not? If the market isn’t trending, A trend following system cannot make money. Simple as that.
