This happened in Australia. Two states agreed to build an interstate highway and by the time it was 'completed' to the border the ends were 19 km apart. The argument was which state should correct the mistake!

I definitely prefer spending time at Mannus Correctional Centre over any of the aged care facilities I've worked at. At Mannus, we couldn't medicate difficult inmates just to keep them manageable. In contrast, aged care facilities often resort to drugging & restraining dementia patients simply to cut costs.
