@emmywayne64 Because only V1 was available at that time and it was very unstable. Not like the current compound V. The V1 had much more chance of killing her then giving her powers. Only five people survived.

Why didn’t stormfront ever bother to give her daughter some Comound V? It makes more sense as she wouldn’t have to outlive her.
