I have a theory.
The reason most men marry younger women is not out of love, it’s a calculated move. They need her to be strong enough to cater for them in their old age, she is just a retirement plan. This is the main reason most men will abandon their wives once she gets a terminal illness. They need to cut their losses on time and find a replacement.
Makes me wonder how we came about the age gap in marriage. Who started it? Did society sit and approve this? If yes, does society really care about women or we are just tools for men?
