as someone who studied hindustani classical for a year (not much), even my teacher himself told me that the only reason our music is even alive is because of muslims, sikhs and minorities who practiced music to put their struggles into words and as a form of protest lol

@suzannebernert also i don't think indians should worry about any "international cinema circuit". we have a huge market and our industry should make great films for that market. good quality will naturally attract overseas interest, chasing it shouldn't be our concern.
