What more does the Indian government need to hear? Imagine a 1982 Mercedes that came all the way from the UK for our Himalayan expedition. It ran perfectly there, but after just 5–6 days in India, it started misfiring due to the ethanol-blended fuel. We replaced the fuel pump, injectors everything and yet the issue persisted. Clearly, the fuel mix is to blame. A car that’s driven thousands of miles flawlessly abroad got ruined here within a week. Now it’s being towed back to the UK. Thank you, India, for this experience and for damaging not just the car, but our image while representing the country. Kudos, Karthik! Wish we had the same courage here in Pune. I remember reading about residents of Vimal Nagar who took it upon themselves to remove illegal flex hoardings after PMC ignored repeated complaints only to be summoned by the police for it. Here, most of us would not even dare click a photo of those hoardings to report them knowing full well the faces on them are powerful enough to retaliate. This is a pose area, while walking just now I clicked. Here, the pavements are completely encroached. In Maharashtra, there’s one particular party notorious for occupying footpaths and settling hawkers there, all to ensure a steady flow of monthly collections. Currently they’ve sold this public space to crackers stalls.

@AbijitG 1. You need a proper car seat for infant 2. You'd need to start at around 5-6am so that you can get over the vasai bridge before traffic worsens 3. Have all the baby stuff handy - diapers, wipes, milk, toys, music, etc. Enjoy the ride and go slow on bad roads 🙂👍🏻
