Sir, This isn't done because of environment. Authorities aren't that smart to think about environment.
It is done to ki!! the used car market, make car buying thing a 6-8 year affair for repeated sales and to help local players in EVs because of their investments.
Last, this latest knee jerk reaction is because we are not getting cheap fuel from Russia anymore and not making HUGE profits like before and hence we are behaving slightly bewildered.
Auto Mainstream Media and Brands can't speak much because they need to do 'dhando'.

Nobody's asking the hard questions about #Ethanol
- it has ~33% lower energy density than petrol. You WILL see worse fuel efficiency. You WILL feel a drop in power. And long-term? what about Pre 2022 cars which are barely E10 compliant?
Rubber seals, injectors, fuel pumps quietly degrading in engines never engineered for aggressive ethanol blends.
Reliability concerns that only show up after a few thousand kms.
And the poor car buyer? Told this is "green mobility" while silently absorbing every cost.
Also, what will happen to resale values of older non E20 compliant cars when the blend goes upto E25, E30 Etc in a couple of years?
Worse still, buyers have no choice at the pump but to buy E20 fuel. No option for E10 or E5.
A mandate without consumer protection, without transparent pump labelling, without honest disclosures really feels rushed.
The environment matters. Energy security is paramount too. But so is durability, efficiency and basic honesty.

Honestly mumbai doesn’t look that bad it’s definitely more organised and cleaner than Delhi NCR It just needs better waste management stronger & anti-encroachment drives and a massive slum rehabilitation program.

हमारी सड़कों पर होने वाली सारी अराजकता का ठीकरा केवल बाहर की गाड़ियों (DL/HR) पर फोड़ देना आसान है और इससे स्थानीय स्तर पर सहानुभूति (Brownie Points) भी मिल जाती है, लेकिन क्या यह पूरी सच्चाई है? अगर ईमानदारी से देखें, तो हमारे अपने राज्य की रजिस्टर्ड UK नंबर की गाड़ियाँ चलाने वाले लोग भी कई बार उतनी ही अव्यवस्था और लापरवाही में शामिल होते हैं।
यह मानने में कोई संदेह नहीं कि बाहर से आने वाले कुछ लोग नियम तोड़ते हैं, लेकिन सभी दोष उन्हीं पर डालकर अपने लोगों को पूरी तरह क्लीन चिट देना न तो सही है और न ही तर्कसंगत। सड़कों पर बेहतर व्यवस्था और अनुशासन के लिए जरूरी है कि हम सब, चाहे DL/HR हों या UK, नियमों का पालन करें और जिम्मेदारी से वाहन चलाएं।
अगर हमें सच में बदलाव चाहिए तो Blame Game से आगे बढ़कर Collective Accountability की जरूरत है। आप भी अपने विचार जरूर साझा करें। धन्यवाद

After so much outrage on Social Media, with videos of accused, vehicle number provided by victims, @DelhiPolice took 3 days to arrest persons who literally live one km from the place of incident.
Which BJP MLA called up the police to protect the accused ?
In Kamal dhyani Janakpuri case also, police did not register FIR, and tried to dress up crime scene.
Outrage is not about this case alone, it’s a pattern.

Delhi Police: In the alleged incident of assault on a serving Army Officer in Delhi, the two accused seen in the vehicle, Satender @ Sonu s/o Banwari Lal, age 49 years, and Sanjay Sharma s/o Laxmi Narayan Sharma, age 56 years, have been apprehended. They are being examined. The offending Mercedes vehicle has also been seized.

Deeply concerned by the incident in Vasant Enclave involving the assault on a serving Brigadier of the Indian Army, his wife and son, a 23-year-old IIT Delhi graduate.
I have personally spoken with Brigadier P.S. Arora to enquire about the incident and their well-being. I also spoke with the Police Commissioner and the DCP, directing them to ensure a thorough and swift investigation, leading to immediate and appropriate action against those responsible.
I have further directed @DelhiPolice to provide full security to the officer and his family.
We remain committed to ensuring the safety of our citizens and upholding the rule of law.

#दिल्ली airport Terminal 1 से T2/T3 तक जाने वाली shuttle bus में बस की sitting capacity से अधिक passengers नहीं बिठाने चाहिए, क्योंकि bus driver पूरी कोशिश करेगा कि आप speed breaker या curves पर इधर-उधर गिर जाएं.
बसें चाहे अच्छी हो गई हों, drivers तो पुराने ही हैं.

दिल्ली - भारतीय सेवा के ब्रिगेडियर अपने बेटे और पत्नी के साथ डिनर के बाद कॉलोनी में वॉक करने निकले. एक गाड़ी में शराबखोरी कर रहे गुंडों को ऐसा करने से टोका. गुंडो ने बदतमीजी की. ब्रिगेडियर पुलिस को फोन किया. पुलिस ने आकर गुंडो से बात की तो उन्होंने पुलिस की बात फोन पर कराई. इसके बाद दो गाड़ियों में गुंडे आए और ब्रिगेडियर और उसके बेटे को बुरी तरह पीटा. ब्रिगेडियर की पत्नी ने विरोध किया तो उसको गालियां दी. परिवार थाने पहुंचा तो वहां भी उनके साथ बदसलूकी की गई. यह देश की राजधानी की कानून व्यवस्था है. @ians_india

What a shame that a movie crew came to shoot and walked away leaving filth in the pristine, snow covered Gulmarg.
Tourist states need to get brutally strict on such behaviour, heavy penalties, bans. Only then will people understand that these places are not their dustbin.
