@GreenEngineer42 @rewiringamerica @leahstokes Simple reality is that we cannot decarbonize unless we also electrify and we cannot electrify fast enough. Also, as for the $$, there are more than 1M home improvement contractors in the US. 85% of them do less than $1M per year in revenue.

@energybooknerd @jakeclevine Founded @rewiringamerica for exactly reason you identify. Another interesting precedent is Farm Loan Act of 1916 where backed by the federal government, farming cooperatives loaned money to fellow farmers to modernize their farms.
