@gavindew has a point. It's been 10 years since the Evergreen Line was approved and 5 years since it opened. There isnt a single building taller than 6 stories open today in the immediate area of Moody Centre station (which also has a WCE stop!).

Examples given are very relevant to our situation in Vancouver. The article could have gone that next step to show that removing zoning constraints on new supply across the city might actually reduce land values as pent-up demand (and prices) are deflated. But still a good piece.

Good piece on the “fallacy of composition” and why upzoning all land across the city wouldn’t set off the speculative frenzy that people are afraid of.
