On the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement, remembering the vital role of the much-missed Mo Mowlam. The contribution she and other women made to the peace process is too often overlooked. We won’t forget. ♥️

@Jbeardmore @chrisbrodie12 @David_SportX Enjoy most of your content JB, but I think your take on this one doesn’t do any favours. This Sarries shithouse attitude is part of what has steadily undermined the English game at club and country level for years now. Remember when the ABs brougth in the No Dickheads rule…

Just to say: If the URC do create this pre-season 7s tournament in Qatar, Leinster wouldn't be able to pick Nick McCarthy else he faces 7 years in prison.

@whiskycast @TaylorCope1982 That’s a hell of a lot of single use plastic, Mark. Having transported 1000s of assorted bottles over 100s of events in well packed bottle boxes I’ve had 0 breakages. But if you have particularly valuable bottle you want a belt and braces approach for, flexihex is the way to go.

QUIZ: You want to drive to the West End from eastern Outer London. Do you drive through a) the borough that forces you to stick to main roads, or b) the borough that lets you drive down any road you want?

GB Rowing currently gets £24.6m funding from UK Sport, more than any other. Disappointing medal return in Tokyo sure to spark debate, given some sports receive much less. Eg neither men’s mountain biking nor women’s BMX were funded at the start of the Tokyo cycle
Dan Roan@danroan

GB Rowing is “evolving from quite a hardcore culture, & trying to transition to something where athletes get more support” @TeamGB chief Andy Anson told me this week, when I asked him why they’d had a poor Tokyo Olympics, despite being UK’s best publicly-funded sport:

A visual argument for vaccines, in five tweets: 1/ A ward of polio victims, incarcerated inside "iron lungs" in 1950s America. Many are children, their lungs paralysed, unable to breathe unaided. Thanks to vaccination, no-one has caught polio in the UK since the 1980s.
