Phone assessment was done March 3rd 2025. PIP was extended to Oct 25. Letter dated March 28th 25 showed deduction applicable date of letter

Hi @stephenctimms @RachelReevesMP I’m a full time wheelchair user. I need a lot of help to manage my care so that I can work. Because of PIP systems, I don’t get more than 2 points in any area. How is the system meant to still support ‘genuinely disabled’ people? /1

@sleeepysandy In our area the renewal time is 16 weeks. Spoke to them and they give an extension of 12 weeks. PIP review went in March - received letter in Sept saying there is a 12 month wait for reviews so they have extended award for 12 months!

My sister spent three hours last night renewing my 93yo mum’s Blue Badge. At this stage, my mum is not going to suddenly become able bodied. My sister is a former director of a major multinational and general parish worthy; a task like this should be simple.
