Chandigarh, Punjab: Minister Harpal Singh Cheema says, "Today, the BJP wants to end the livelihood of the poor and Dalit communities and turn them into laborers without rights. The rights given by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar are being taken away by the BJP. During the 2024 elections, the BJP claimed it would win 400 seats, but that did not happen. Had it happened, they would have changed the Constitution of the country. However, people united and prevented the BJP from achieving that number. Now, they are trying to do the same by making changes to welfare schemes..."
