@JesterJum I always try to park next to the cart return. There's more people around so it feels less dangerous and I can put the cart away. Its not always an option and id leave the cart to to keep us safe

Was at Walmart a bit ago. Just me and my 3 year old. Got the groceries, walk out to the truck, put her in the truck, put the groceries in the truck, and then put the buggie in front of my truck. Out of the way and on the curb so it didn't roll away. This crotchety dried up old prune yells at me to put my cart away from 2 aisles over. No. I will not. My only two options are to leave my kid in the truck while it's running in the Walmart parking lot at night OR carry her and my groceries from the buggie place. Go eat a bag of d!cks Karen.

i know so many parents whose kids watch Frozen or some other movie literally every day, for months at a time feels like this was not a thing among kids in the 90s obviously pressing 'play' is so easy, but rewinding a VCR isn't hard either what explains?

How are y’all storing potatoes? Every time I buy a 5 or 10 lb bag they sprout and get soft within 2 weeks. I’m storing them in a cool dark place away from onions and it still happens. Whyyyyy

@madisontayt_ Yeah id probably invest in some natural fiber clothes before I start milling my own flour but that's just me and I cant afford to do either sooo

What to put in a baby’s Christmas stocking? I don’t want a bunch of little annoying toys and things that will turn into clutter. All I’m coming up with so far is socks and baby food pouches 😂

I wish I was as good at conversation as my 2 year old. He just walks up to people and says "I got Lightning McQueen on my shirt" or "I got pockets."

whenever I take care of a baby, I try to make it child-inclusive time, not child-centered. I bring a snack, so we can eat together; I read a book or do sudoku if they're happily playing on their own 😊 the goal is normal life slowed down to their rhythm, not 24/7 entertainment
