If you're sending a portfolio to someone who doesn't already know your work, optimize for a reader who has just looked at a hundred other portfolios and is in an "aggressively filtering" mode. You don't know what they're filtering for but you can demonstrate many things at once. IMO this is an intro (who you are, what you're best at, what you're looking for), on a self-designed website with great typography and layout, perfect copy, link to resume / LinkedIn, then a shit ton of screens that you worked on

I also got sick of opening photoshop to create dials. so here is artofpilgrim.github.io/Dials/ where you can create your own. Save presets. Export as png/svg. have fun
