This is why I feel like the "milennial dads do more childcare" bit falls flat - they also do *less*, proportionately, than Gen X dads! The amount of total childcare required (a lot of it completely useless) has just grown stratospherically

@af_mts @StephenFlynnSNP May be some truth in what you say, I’d argue the opposition parties in Scotland get an easy ride from the media. By contrast the SNP regularly have to answer to aggressive media. Curiously this has actually helped hone a more robust set of SNP politicians.

The SNP have been coasting for a long time but the quality of their MSPs is so far ahead of any of the other parties with less than a dozen exceptions.
