Dammit. The ACP program is ending. I rely on that to keep my internet reasonably affordable, and millions of others as well. And in my area one company has the monopoly on service, I used to pay less than half that in NYC. Fuck congress for not renewing it.

@FCC Received from my internet provider...The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has announced that the ACP is ending and April 2024 will be the last month you receive your full ACP discount. Is the FCC not extending the program?

Some great news: We’ve come to an agreement with Congressional leaders on a path forward for the remaining full-year funding bills. The House and Senate are now working to finalize a package that can quickly be brought to the floor, and I will sign it immediately.
