Tomb-sweeping Day,and a national holiday in honor of our ancestors and loss of loved ones. The sculpture is our most revered president of Northeast Normal University, Mr. Fangwu Cheng who served several universities as the first president at the beginning of new China.

I'm thrilled to have been successful in my application for a @LeverhulmeTrust Research Fellowship. Working with Chinese anthropologist Mao Dan, and based at Jilin University my project is entitled "Literacy & Harmony: A study of Sino-Muslim heritage literacies in modern China” /1

@weiweiresearch Perhaps low self- efficacy and less proficient EFL learners are less daring to interact with others, but they are still highly motivated with learning contents? High achievers might feel the task needs more interactions so as to do it better?

Need some help: EFL learners with low self efficacy and language proficiency level reported more learner-content interactions, while high-achivers reported more learner-learner and learner-teacher ineractions in online discussion forum of a language MOOC. Any possible reason?

@virtualnotviral I would like to see women not losing their scholarships for starting a family (men won't), or entering in maternity leave knowing that their contract will be gone at the end of it. #VirtualNotViral

@phillipdawson Thank you for your response to my question, Dr. Philip Dawson! Still as a novice in international publishing, I know little about the practice. Reviewing is indeed a selfless job! Great👍 Why can reviewers not get reviewing work paid from the publishers who seem to make profits?

See me on LinkedIn - I've quit X (Phillip Dawson)
BMJ reviewers used to get paid £50 per review back in 1979... adjusted for inflation and converted to AUD that's $460! Times have changed. I'd be happy with just a partial credit towards open access publication.

Controversial, for sure, but worth a read: “I never peer review. Why would I waste my time reviewing...when I can be doing my own research? I’m funded to do research & am rewarded for it. Nobody either funds me to review or rewards me for doing it.” #MedEd go.shr.lc/36uqWRK
