This Aberdeen MP is a hypocrite. Jackdaw & Rosedale are major North Sea oil projects which we desperately need to proceed to save Aberdeen, the North East and thousands of jobs. Both him and his SNP destroyers at Westminster declined to vote on giving the go ahead. Don’t vote SNP

@MelJStride Since you know fuck all about the Oil and Gas industry. Do you actually think that drilling a hole in the North will produce oil and gas? It takes years of planning and the costs are astronomical before 1 x barrel is taken out.

@AFC19035 Energy is devolved. We get over ruled by Westminster every time.Look what happened at Ardersier and Grangemouth recently with the loss of jobs.The people of the NE are the workforce of the industry but all the money goes South. Westminster gets all the taxes (VAT and Fuel duty).

The decline of Aberdeen & area is devastating. A once vibrant & booming economy will never return to its former glory days: 1000s of offshore jobs lost along with the associated hospitality & service sectors. Why would anyone in the NE vote SNP? Note the local SNP MPs below:

Most polls going into this campaign suggest the SNP won’t quite get a majority. But who would they form a coalition with? Will it be the Greens again, who would force the NHS to prescribe puberty blockers to children, and kill off Scottish manufacturing and the oil and gas industry for good? Or if not, would Anas Sarwar “hold his nose” and join them for power? Or perhaps the LibDems? Scots deserve to know what their votes will really mean. They know what they're getting with Reform.

The Scottish Government wants a 2.5% cut in the number of public sector workers over the next 5 years - so if you are a firefighter, nurse, police officer, teacher, roads worker, librarian, housing officer, prison officer, street cleaner or doctor etc. that might mean you.
