@ChrisGloninger The 18O/16O isotope ratio in core CO2 is interesting. Get out of jail is it equilibrated with the ice and is a tiny contribution to the ice but you could interpret it as the distant Hollocene was as warm as now! Big biogenic or oceanic changes in the Holocene from 13C/12C data

@ChrisGloninger Yes Co2 in ice cores appears to gone up - does not correlate with temperature - why am I not surprised. Interesting anomalies where is gone down in te hollocene. Not sure why- could be error or reflect weather etc = plant activity

The data shows: - CO₂ now: 425 ppm (highest in 800,000+ years) - Rate of warming: 10-100x faster than any natural cycle - Cause: traceable via carbon isotopes to fossil fuels The cores don't disprove the crisis. They confirm it.

This morning fossil fuels are only generating 5.8% of the electricity in the UK. You can't fight the future. It will happen no matter how much obscene cash the fossil fuel industry uses to buy politicians. And we'll be able to breathe.
