A 25-year-old engineer allegedly stabbed his girlfriend to death inside his paying guest (PG) accommodation in Gurugram. He later died by suicide by jumping in front of a moving train, it is suspected.
The deceased have been identified as Shreshth Malik, a resident of Chhattisgarh, and Ishara Ayubi, who hailed from Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh. Both worked for the same private company in Gurugram. Ayubi had moved into Malik’s PG accommodation only three days before the incident.
