King Charles is so Quintessentially British ☕🇬🇧
"Let's imagine the King meeting James Bond and maybe even loaning 007 his vintage Aston Martin. And of course, just like Charles, Bond powers it on British cheese and wine! 🧀🍷🫢"
This picture looks like it could be a scene from @007 🎥😀

@SingaporeAir When are you installing @Starlink on your fleet? Your current offering is atrocious and an embarrassment.

Only one chance in this lifetime…
Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.
I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

Having a hot wife is male luxury branding.
You walk into a room with her and suddenly the owner is shaking your hand
Next, they’re inviting you to their exclusive events.
Even the service is quicker lol
Other men are looking at you like you got some cheat code
You don’t need the Bentley.
A hot wife is a walking billboard of success.

Question, asking genuinely: if this is all true, why was Elon being such a doomer a year ago...
...to the point of trying to form a new political party because he said inflation and government spending would collapse us?
What happened in the last year that now it's actually all fine, actually it was nothing to worry about this whole time? 🤔

99% of people really do not understand abundance as Elon describes it.
The fundamental reason is that they don’t understand compound growth.
Same people who would probably pick 1 million dollars today over a penny that doubles in value every day for 30 days.
It’s a bad choice by the way. You lose out on millions.
Imagine if that doubling object was a labor producing robot instead of a penny.
Compounding labor. It’s actually crazy if you try and wrap your mind around it.
So Elon mentions Universl High Income and the midwits flip a lid.
“The elites won’t share”
You don’t get it. They won’t need to share. They will make everything so cheap, it is effectively free.
Charities will have immense resources to distribute.
Unfathomable intelligence will exist to help optimize production and distribution.
An unfathomably large labor pool will exist that operates on solar power exclusively.
The public work projects that are erected will be unseen before levels of breathtaking.
I think we are incredibly blessed to steward this new age of abundance.
Can you see it now?
Can you see the future?

Emirates executive Patrick Brannelly in new interview on why they adopted @Starlink:
"The legacy systems weren’t working. No matter how much money we threw at them, passengers still complained, and it was impossible technically for everybody that wanted to connect to connect. Then Starlink came along saying, ‘We guarantee it, it will work.’ With a very pragmatic technical viewpoint, insisting on XWAPs, to connect 100%, and to install more than one antenna to handle demand and for redundancy. It was like for the first time, talking to people that actually understood how the internet works in a highly dense environment on an aircraft.
It seemed our legacy connectivity industry didn’t really understand the core technologies needed to deliver customer connectivity happiness. But Starlink absolutely understood it.
Now, in addition, the big fundamental shift from the first generation of Starlink was the evolution of satellite-to-satellite laser connectivity. So, if you’re a middle of the ocean, where you’ve got nowhere to ground the traffic, Starlink could just pass the traffic through adjacent satellites until there’s one over a ground station. That worked much better than I think anybody had imagined."
Emirates has already started to install Starlink on its entire fleet of ~232 aircraft, with full completion expected by mid-2027. Customers onboard with Starlink are already seeing 10-20X internet speed improvements.

@zanehengsperger And so I went to Cernan and astronauts from all of the Apollo missions and got their signatures of tribute to SpaceX. It was a birthday gift to Elon and hangs the entryway at SpaceX HQ. Armstrong made 60 Minutes publish a retraction too. Details: steve.blog/2012/07/11/the…

when spacex was getting started, the first and last men to walk on the moon testified before congress against it.
gene cernan told congress commercial space companies "do not yet know what they don't know."
he said the boeings and lockheed martins were "the folks who have been working on everything we've done for the last 50 years. they know how it can be done."
neil armstrong said he was "not confident" the newcomers could achieve their goals.
together with jim lovell they warned it would put america on "a long downward slide to mediocrity."
spacex now launches more rockets than every country on earth combined.
the experts will always tell you it can't be done. build it anyway!
