@AkshayVijayara1 CVP (ideally Swan for PAPi/RVSWi), echo, and rhythm to ensure sinus for diagnostics -> vol mgmt, inotropy, PVR/RV afterload reduction for mgmt. RP Impella or ECMO of course in the right patient, but sounds like those not options for this pt

I’m starting to develop a lot more respect for the right ventricle during this pandemic. This came up somewhat recently with a patient with COVID ARDS. They arrested multiple times and had significant vasoplegia afterwards requiring multiple high dose vasopressors.

@sumittickoo Yes - not because it's needed every time but because it creates a culture of routine U/S that becomes important when femoral access is needed. Also, it allows for an evaluation of #RadialFirst vs. ulnar diameters to guide primary access
