BharatAgri private label just became operationally profitable! It will now start generating cash flow for the business! When we started this private label just 9 months ago, we wanted to fill a key gap in the market. We advise new age products to farmers that reduce their chemical usage, improve soil health and increase their profits. But such products were not easily available with offline retailers. Launching this private label made it easy for farmers to follow advanced farming practices. And hence our private label has almost doubled every month in sales!

Interesting observation by @holland_tom - in a single generation Ireland went from a Catholic country to a godless Protestant country. What do you think of this, @kevinhargaden @GregDaly?

I hate this for my parents. I hate that the life their son is leading is diametrically opposed to what they foresaw under the wedding canopy—and this is what they know, not the Catholicism. Yes, I know it’s the right thing, and the friction hurts, but I still hate that they hurt.

Good first day in Belgium— mass in a sublime church with art, foamy real beer, and food that doesn’t suck. Finally free of them Protestant pagans 😃

Happy Feast of St. Benedict to my fellow Orthodox Christians. Seven years ago today, "The Benedict Option" was published. It's still being discussed and argued about. Some who do so have actually read the book! If you haven't, might I suggest it's time? penguinrandomhouse.com/books/547188/t…

…but surely that means that the re-emergence of illiberal antisemitism is a symptom rather than a cause of liberalism’s exhaustion in the 21st century?

The major subtext of the Foer piece is that the Biden administration ultimately failed in its liberal restorationist project of taming both the far right and the far left, which is precisely why the liberal establishment backed Biden in the first place.

@vaibhavbetter @sriramk We need to understand that A is both our weakness and our opportunity. Building that infrastructure is business. Building those hospitals is business. Building those schools is business. Building agricultural infrastructure and processing is business. Let’s freaking go! 🚀

I see your point and broadly agree but (B) won’t work if (A) is not addressed sooner than later - it is not going to fix itself and the fix of (A) is not a derivative of success in (B). Ignoring (A) will make (B) harder — it already is. While there are many keyboard warriors who will just talk about (A) there are others who are actually doing something about it. Founders of companies like Eeki and Praan and many others are solving for (A) or atleast trying. A friend has spent the last 20 yrs running a for-profit company in sanitation (toilets!) and we need him and 1000s more to take (A) as serious missions. Otherwise we will pay digitally with UPI while walking around poop! A sole focus in (B) is actually hard based on my experience on the ground in India. We invest to fix (A) as well as help unlock (B) because India needs both.

Things you learn in Texas: - The guy in the F-150 is worth a lot more than the dude in a BMW. - The small business owner from a state school is smarter than the majority of Princeton grads. - Rednecks are more honorable than investment bankers. - Hardworking legal immigrants are more American than most Americans. - There’s more racism in Connecticut country clubs than in ice houses.

Saw my daughter off at SFO: She’s moving with her mother to Paris. My grandparents fled fascism in Spain to Cuba, my parents fled communism in Cuba to the US, and now La Petite et mère are fleeing technocapitalism in the US back to Europe. Quite the generational triangle trade.

The Uber Green pickup system at the Mumbai airport is unlike I’ve ever seen in ride sharing: The app gives you a PIN while you wait in a traditional line, and when an available car rolls up, you give the driver the number to activate the trip. Is this common anywhere else?

@roddreher I know Hungary isn’t seeking immigration, but they have an amazing opportunity to attract Jewish scientists and entrepreneurs seeking a place to raise their families in a safe and secure environment.

The widespread approval from Zoomers in the US of Hamas's butchery ought to scare the hell out of us. I am reminded of this quote from Solzhenitsyn, cited in my book "Live Not By Lies," which is about the totalitarian danger facing us today. penguinrandomhouse.com/books/622436/l…

what happened in BLR yesterday can and will happen to every city unless, as a country, we take city planning seriously and as well as we are taking our country’s digital infrastructure building. BLR is the cutting edge problem definition we should be thankful for.
