She lied to them. They offered her more money based on believing that lie. That she didn't intend to profit is the only reason it's not textbook fraud, although if she accepts the $5k then it leans back in that direction.

I think people are very confused about prediction markets “accuracy”
Prime example is US elections. No, polymarket did not “predict Trump winning”.
It was more accurate (!) than other sources. In order to have a claim you have predicted something you can’t say “Trump is 60% likely to win”, you have to say “Trump will win” (or have a claim that is very close to 100%, which 60% is just not, it’s still more of a coin flip)

"never lying" is ultimately an epistemic hygiene protocol lying adds noise in ur internal model & creates alternate versions of you that you have to uphold every lie becomes a background daemon hogging cpu/cognitive bandwidth to uphold the lie not lying is just so much cleaner

I want to consistently save things I find useful or informative and have that be in the context for chatgpt or claude
I want to do this in a way where if I start a fresh chat it's not hard to just chuck everythin in and idealy it updates as I add more things to my list
