Launched a large under the hood site upgrade yesterday. Not much in terms of front facing changes, but site navigation (back and forward history) should be more stable now. So far everything is working as before but please reach out if anything is amiss.

When looking at Nemec and Jiricek in the AHL, the points clearly favor Jiricek. However, looking at @ahltracker data more closely, it’s pretty clear that Cleveland’s success on the PP and Utica’s lack of it skews some of the analytics. A short thread 🧵:

The AHL 22-23 season schedule is now up on the site: ahltracker.com/games?commit=F… Coachella Valley has been added and the new Calgary team name will be updated when available via the AHL website The default season for searches will continue to be set as 21-22 until 22-23 starts.

Made some tweaks to the scraper. Now 2022 playoff stats have been fully re-scraped and up to date

Also updated is the games section filtering, which now includes playoff games

The re-written scraper had some bugs with it's first attempt at scraping an ongoing playoff season. Things should be good now and games are up to date.
