They sold you a treadmill, a fitness tracker, and a £180 pair of trainers. Fasting was free. They sold you meal replacement shakes and the anxiety that skipping breakfast would wreck your metabolism. Cold water was free. They sold you a £3,000 plunge barrel and a podcast episode about it. Silence was free. They sold you a meditation app with a premium tier. Animal fat was cheap. They sold you seed oils, then supplements to replace what the animal fat contained. Tallow was cheap. They sold you a seventeen-step skincare routine and a clinical trial proving your face needs ceramides. Meat was cheap. They are currently selling you the idea that you shouldn't eat it. The 20th century removed access to everything the body needs to function. The 21st century is selling it back, one subscription at a time. Your great-grandmother had none of the products. She had all of the things.

I travelled to Madhubani, Bihar to report on the brutal killing of Roshan Khatoon and what I found is deeply disturbing. On 25 February 2026, during the month of Ramadan, Roshan Khatoon was tied to a pole and mercilessly beaten by more than 20 people, including men and women, while she was fasting, after she went to the village head’s house to resolve a dispute. Her family says that when she asked for water, she was instead forced to drink a mixture of alcohol and urine, an act they describe as deliberate humiliation because she was a Muslim woman. She succumbed to her injuries on 1 March. What followed raises even more serious questions. Instead of immediately ensuring medical care and justice, police allegedly took Roshan Khatoon and her husband to the Police station while she was critically injured and demanded ₹50,000 for their release. The family says they were eventually released after 5–6 hours after paying ₹4,000. Nineteen people have been named in the FIR. Yet, nearly a month later, only one arrest has been made. Her family alleges that the accused are being shielded due to political backing from BJP and JDU leaders. Meanwhile, even after weeks, the postmortem report has still not been released. Reuters confirmed that the elementary school in the Iranian city of Minab was bombed TWICE by the US military, 40 minutes apart. This was intentional. You don't "accidentally" bomb a school TWO TIMES. 168 children and 14 teachers were killed. It was a massacre.
