I just don't understand poking the bear. Like, even if Patterson turns out to be a genius hire, Oregon is a HORRIFIC matchup for USC this year. I'm saying this as someone who thinks USC could win a natty in 5 years. They are built for this current era, but poking Oregon is dumb.

And having watched millions of Angel games i can honestly say he was one of laziest players ever...did you ever see him dive for a ball hmmmm....
I was told he died of a heart attack from a family member...at 53....hmmmmm

@CFBwSam USC has had top 15-20 classes for eons . They always recruit at a high level . Maybe haven’t gotten top 3 classes in a while but they have been consistent in recruiting. Talent never has been the problem here . It’s always been coaching since Caroll left .

If they ever win at a high level, it's over. They have 1/10th the success of Notre Dame and Ohio State, recently, and consistently beat them out for players. What happens if they get a natty?

I am glad this is getting done. USC could use some stadium upgrades too. Now, with that said, Nebraska, with money like this spent on stadium work, we need to see an improving product on the football field.
