@jim_desmond The state doesn’t do housing first… there isn’t enough housing especially in SD. They tout that they do but, we don’t. Try again dude. Maybe if you did something productive instead of tweeting and got on the ground you’d figure these things out.

The reality is that homelessness will continue to grow unless State politicians change their Housing First mindset and address the root causes such as drug and alcohol abuse and mental illness.

The City of San Diego is looking at spending $383,000 per room to house the homeless. Throwing more and more money will not solve the issue as we've seen over the years. Without treatment, the cycle will continue.
