The Assam Industrial Development Corporation Ltd (AIDC) has developed a world-class Plastic Park at Gelapukhuri, Tinsukia, under the Plastic Park Scheme of the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India — a major step towards strengthening industrial infrastructure in the Northeast. Spread across 177.52 acres with an investment of Rs. 93.65 crore, the Park offers state-of-the-art facilities, including: 1. 6 km of internal roads & 12 km of drains 2. 70 KLD (70,000 per Day) water supply system 3. Common Facility Centre, Service Apartment & Canteen 4. Warehousing & Shed Facilities 5. 2×10 MVA dedicated power sub-station
