To your shame and humiliation, when you apply context to Hebrews 1:8, it proves that Jesus Christ is the most high God of one essence with the father yet distinct from him in personhood. Going to be charitable and assume you're ignorant of the facts, and I will teach you how to exegete. Let's get into it, then prove to me I'm wrong: Hebrews 1:2 :  "in these last days spoke to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds," You're telling me the Son has been appointed heir of all things? The same way Allah says he is the heir of all things or "Al-Warith/الوارث" which is one of Allah's 99 names? Hebrews 1:3 : "who is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power; who, having accomplished cleansing for sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high," The Greek work in Hebrews 1:3 is χαρακτὴρ (charaktēr) which means EXACT representation then it says "His nature" which is "αὐτοῦ ὑποστάσεως (hypostaseōs)" showing he is of the same essence/nature of the Father, that right there proves God applying his divine nature to the Son. It also says, ALL things are being upheld by the word of the Son. Then the verse goes on to say he sits on high. Hebrews 1:5 "For to which of the angels did He ever say, “You are My Son, Today I have begotten You”? The word for Son here is not the same 'Son' that angels are called sometimes. This quotes Psalm 2:7 and 2 Samuel 7:14 where it talks about offspring 'Son' and it is the divine Father saying the same offspring word of Son and saying he is begotten from him. Question, are you begotten of your father? Does that make you any less human than him? Do you get it? Hebrews 1:6 "And when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says, “And let all the angels of God worship Him.”" Hold on, you're telling me ALL angels worship the Son? Directly quotes Psalm 97:7 where in the Greek Septuagint (96:7) it says "Let all that worship graven images be ashamed, who boast of their idols; worship him, all ye his angels." The Father is attributing worship that is only dedicated for Yahweh to the Son. Hebrews 1:10"And, “You, Lord, in the beginning founded the earth, And the heavens are the works of Your hand 11 They will perish, but You remain; And they all will wear out like a garment, 12 And like a mantle You will roll them up; Like a garment they will also be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will not come to an end.” Look what just happened, Hebrews 1:10-12 just took Psalm 102:25-27 which is about Yahweh the Most High God, and applied it to the Son. Can you now somehow without being dishonest about the context and the scripture, now that you know the context, how God in Heb 1:8 is used the same way as god was used in Exodus 7:1 when the Son is Al Warith (Heb 1:2), the Heir of all things, the Son shares the same divine nature as the Father (Heb 1:3, Heb 1:5), the Son sits on High (Heb 1:3), the Son is begotten of the Father, not sons like angels (Heb 1:5), the Son recieves worship only Yahweh gets in the entirety of scripture (Heb 1:6), the Son founded the universe and the heavens (Heb 1:10) and the Son is Eternal (Heb 1:11-12) which are attributes only given to Yahweh according to scripture (Psalm 102:25-27)? And that is just staying in the same chapter.

If having a divine title makes you God, then your theology includes a pantheon of angels, judges, and even Moses (Exodus 7:1), who were all called "gods" in your own scripture. Stop pretending linguistic metaphors are ontological proofs; you're just drowning in your own ignorance of Hebrew.🤦🏻‍♂️

Jesus never said "I am the Messiah" in the Quran, yet this guy will say "well Allah calls him the Messiah in the Quran, so that's good enough". To that we can say "well the Father calls Jesus God in Hebrews 1:8, so that's good enough." But then instead of conceding that their argument failed, they will divert to some new complaint. With that said, Christ claims titles and actions for himself that the Quran ascribes to Allah alone. - "The First and The Last" (Quran 57:3 / Revelation 22:13) - "The Truth" (Quran 22:6-7 / John 14:6) - The forgiver of sins (Quran 3:135 / Mark 2:1-11) - The one who raises the dead at the Hour (Quran 22:6-7 / John 5:25-29) - The Lord and King on Judgement Day (Quran 1:4 / Matthew 25:31-46) - The cloud rider (Quran 2:210 / Mark 13:26-27) These are just a few examples. On top of this, the Quran confirms our scriptures (S. 2:41, 2:89, 2:91, 4:47, 5:43-47, 5:66-68, 10:94, ect). The same books that have Christ claiming to be God. And by the way, it doesn't just confirm parts, it confirms ALL of it (S. 2:85).

I am QUITTING the debate space indefinitely. After a deep and sincere conversation with our revert brother @EnochIslam I have come to the realization that I have done more harm than good by trying to debate without a proper foundation in true Islamic knowledge.
