@TheProjectUnity Deffo jay 💯 there is no place I’ve been before that made me cry as I walked off the tour bus, it was such a weird feeling walking up the middle of the lions

The Radio Shack Science Fair 150-in-One Electronic Project Kit. It was originally released around 1976 and sold by Radio Shack to teach basic electronics.
The kit was designed to allow users to build 150 different circuit designs. It includes various electronic components such as transistors, diodes, capacitors, and an LED digital display.
Projects included building an AM radio, sound effects, and communication circuits.
It is a widely recognized and nostalgic item that served as an educational tool for many.

@theworldlabs This needs to be in VR , this is what VR was built for 👍🏻 to be able to walk in and around your created worlds.

@Lunayian @MindOfAGemini93 No argument here lol yeah would be interesting to have a poll to see, as long as vr grows thats the main thing, thanks for the debate though , alls good 👍🏻

@aitken1970 @MindOfAGemini93 I don't agree, and broader audiences doesn't mean kids, it just means wider, more generalized groups.
I think it's fine if you personally don't find it appealing, but that doesn't make it universally true for others in your age demo.
English

I'm honestly a huge fan of this approach, it's finally starting to feel like the platform has a cohesive style rather than piecemeal components. Reminds me a lot of PSHome.
That said, I wish the NPCs were more subtle lol

I have to admit. Even though I know the Horizon Central in the new home space is fake and the people are fake, the illusion is very effective for feeling like I'm just jumping down to the new plaza and then back to home again. Very seemless feeling and makes the home feel connected more than it ever has. The only thing I wish was that the menu didn't pop up as soon as the home loaded.
English

@Lunayian @MindOfAGemini93 I agree its definitely a aesthetic just more aimed at kid candy land style which does attract your broader audience which is kids and I get that, if it was only for kids which its not unless its the route meta want to go down
English

@aitken1970 @MindOfAGemini93 I wouldn't say it's a 'kid like' aesthetic though, it's just stylized. I don't think it's an issue in terms of broader audiences.
English

@Lunayian @MindOfAGemini93 Don’t get me wrong I love VR, just passionate I want it to succeed as a main platform as the first time i had my DK2 in 2014 I knew it is the future.
English

@Lunayian @MindOfAGemini93 Yip totally get you, it’s the kid like in horizon worlds that aesthetic that appeals to kids rather than the older generation that puts a lot of us older folks off so meta has to watch they don’t alienate as a throw away toy.
English

@aitken1970 I mean I think having it be aesthetically colorful yet visually detailed like now is fine for both demographics.
Something that looks drab and/or gritty isn't very broad in appeal.
English

@TheProjectUnity I’m sorry but what a absolute thicktard, 100% with jay on this, I’m no expert, just a normal guy and just think for just a minute you would question the narrative

No you're trying to say stone balls are responsible for precision crafted, multi-tonne, Granite Obelisks. You are not "just trying to tell you stone tools can chip and abrade granite"
No shit they can chip and abrade granite, but they can't be used to build 200-300 tonne obelisks, which is the actual point of this entire post and you know this to be true which is why you are backpedalling David.
David Miano@DrDavidMiano
@DisparVulgo02 What I am trying to tell you is that stone tools can chip and abrade granite. That's it. And look how many people are upset about it.

@TheProjectUnity When I was touring the Yucatán Peninsula at a lot of the Mayan sites I climbed the pyramids and looked across the jungle you could see hundreds of pyramids sticking out the tops of the trees undiscovered, excuse was they can’t get to them cause jungle too dense or so they say.
English

@TheProjectUnity Cracking photo jay 👍🏻 this place must have been absolutely amazing in its day.

@TheProjectUnity My dream I was stabbed by a school bully, died and went to my own funeral before waking up im now in my 50’s and had that dream about 2 years ago and it is still quite vivid.
