Rajpal Yadav has been sentenced to 3 months in jail after the Delhi High Court upheld his conviction in multiple cheque bounce cases.
The court reduced his earlier 6-month sentence but refused to cancel the conviction.
The case started with a loan taken for his film Ata Pata Laapata. Over the years, the unpaid amount reportedly grew to around ₹9 crore.
Despite several chances, the court said the commitments to repay were not honoured.
Rajpal Yadav said that he has around ₹1200 crore worth of acting work lined up.

Visited the district court today. My lawyer asked me to wait in his office, and I witnessed something that stayed with me.
A couple married for just 3 months had come for separation. The husband claimed he caught his wife with her boyfriend in a hotel. They had agreed to separate, and he was even returning everything her family had given during the marriage, from the bed and fan to other household items.
The only dispute was over jewellery allegedly worth ₹18 lakh. At first, he refused to return it. After a long discussion, the lawyer convinced him to return half the jewellery, and he agreed.
But instead of settling the matter, the woman's family again started abusing him. There was physical aggression, and he was even slapped. That made him lose his temper. He withdrew his offer and said he would not return any jewellery.
The woman then said she would file multiple cases against him. His reply was, "Go ahead. Do whatever you want. I won't give a single penny."
I really don't understand why some women choose money over honesty after destroying a marriage. Cheating your partner and then demanding money or jewellery is unacceptable.
Please be aware of such women before getting married. Take your time, verify what you can, and don't ignore red flags. A wrong life partner can change your entire life.
If a spouse is proven to have cheated, should they still be entitled to demand money, jewellery, or file legal cases against the other spouse?

यूपी के धनकुबेर ARTO ललित कुमार। इनके यहां से विजलेंस टीम को इतना कुछ मिला कि सुनने वालों के होश उड़ जाएंगे।
ललित रायबरेली के हैं, लखनऊ में रहते हैं। पिछले साल रिटायर हुए थे। विजलेंस टीम ने अलीगंज के चंद्रलोक कॉलोनी में 26 घंटे की छापेमारी की। 13 किलो सोना और 9 किलो चांदी मिली है। इसकी कीमत करीब 20 करोड़ रुपए होती है।
ललित ने लखनऊ, नोएडा, बारांबकी समेत कुल 15 जगहों पर जमीन व फ्लैट खरीद रखे हैं। इन जमीनों की सरकारी कीमत तो 13 करोड़ है, लेकिन सरकारी में कहां खरीद-फरोख्त होती है।
1 करोड़ 62 लाख रुपए नकद मिला है। ये पैसा घर की अलग-अलग दीवारों में छिपाकर रखा था। बैंक, पोस्ट ऑफिस और म्युचुअल फंड में 1 करोड़ रुपए का निवेश मिला। घर में साज-सज्जा के सारे आईटम लग्जरी और ब्रांडेड मिले।
घर के बाहर इनोवा, आई-20 कार मिली। यह तो ललित के पास से मिला। जांच टीम को शक है कि ललित ने कई अघोषित संपत्तियां भी बनाई है। इसकी भी जांच होगी।
ललित की सैलरी रिटायरमेंट के वक्त करीब डेढ़ लाख के आसपास रही थी। जिस हिसाब से चीजें मिली हैं, उससे तो लगता है कि हर दिन सैलरी के बराबर ऊपर की कमाई की है।
