@aripap There are currently two API’s so it seems like the DCLK separation still exsists. They could easily spin DCLK out & take them public. They would easily make a couple billion on the whole separation.

My questions regarding “divest GAM and AdX to solve all problems”: Could they keep Adsense? Could they have a tag on a publisher’s page even without ad serving? Could they let other exchanges bid into the Adsense tag? And maybe apply yield rules? How is this different?

@aripap There really is only one publisher ad server in the US. There is a grave yard of them that Google buried over the the years.

Google would see when it’s own systems had both the first- and second-best bids and then would pay the publisher as if the second bid didn’t exist, but charge the advertiser as if it did. Wow.
