@annamv10 @ChrispyLispy @jdcmedlock Tesla slapped some cheap cameras & radar on, made a very good highway cruise control and obviously lied about “your car will pay for itself with taxi rides while you sleep” and “full self driving” soon. Everyone in real SD and everyone at Tesla knows there’s a 0% chance of that.

@annamv10 @ChrispyLispy @jdcmedlock Look at of Waymo and Cruise who are offering working-ish driverless taxi rides in SF and see that the approach to the technology is entirely different. Very expensive computers, very expensive and large sensors. 10s of billions spent on only that and it’s just starting to work.

Thing is, I totally buy that Elon Musk is smart in some specific ways (though people he has on payroll may not be the best source). But having observed his statements and actions, I also know he's a deeply dumb guy in many ways

There has to be a point where these mercenaries must look in the mirror and ask, am I simply magnifying every single crime I can in order to make money? Am I just a con artist?

@marcelemoran They’re just soft targets. Robots will never run you over or get out of the car and fight you.

@Wagnerian I have helped someone with this and it’s not fun. Many people will falsely advertise that they take it. There are many fruitless phone calls in your future. My friend was eventually helped by a Medi-Cal support person who did significant work to find one who did and had openings

@BriannaWu It has always been entirely fraud. It has never been a serious “full self driving” effort and never will be. The only reason there aren’t lawsuits piled up is most of the purchasers are subscribers to his cult of personality.

FSD needs to be recalled, and Tesla needs to refund everyone’s money. It’s a clear risk to the public.

@inerati Video and audio are 100x less information per second compared to reading. Huge waste of time.
